Take the charging token (laaddruppel) from the glove compartment.
Scan the token at the charging station to stop charging.
Make sure the car is unlocked.
Press the release button on the connector and remove the cable from the car.
Then remove the cable from the charging station.
Close the charging door: press the rear edge of the door and push it lightly until it clicks shut.
Put the cable back in its designated place in the cargo area and return the charging token to the glove compartment.
Cable stuck
Make sure the car is unlocked via the MyWheels app. The cable only releases when the car is unlocked.
If that does not work, use the central locking button next to the window controls in the driver's door to unlock the car again.
Never pull the cable out by force without pressing the release button on the connector. This can damage the connector or the charging inlet.
At a DC fast charger the connector is locked while charging. It releases automatically once charging is stopped or complete.
Still having issues
Contact the charging station operator if the cable is stuck in the charging station. The phone number is displayed on the charging station.
Contact MyWheels support if the cable remains stuck in the car, or if you have any other questions.
Please note: never drive off with the charging door open. This can damage the door and its hinges.
