Charging the Hyundai Kona
• Park the car with the charging port as close as possible to the charging station.
• Put the car in P and turn it off.
• Plug the charging cable into the car first, then into the charging station.
• Push firmly to make sure everything is properly connected.
• Take the charging card/tag from the glove compartment.
• Scan the card at the charging station to start charging.
• Put the card back in the glove compartment.
Tip: Always check if the car is really charging.
– Look for the blue light on the charging station or the charging icon on the car’s dashboard.

Charging issues can sometimes occur. Here are a few common problems and tips:
Charging cable won’t unlock:
After charging, the cable may remain stuck. Try using the door lock/unlock button (on the driver’s door), or lock and unlock the car again via the MyWheels app.
Charging won’t start:
Sometimes the car doesn’t charge, even though the cable is connected. You can recognize this by the red blinking light around the charging port.
