You operate cruise control and the speed limiter with the buttons on the left of the steering wheel. You set the speed with SET+ and SET-.
Switching on cruise control
Press the cruise control button on the left of the steering wheel.
Drive at the speed you want and press SET+ or SET-. The car now maintains that speed.
Adjusting the speed: tap SET+ or SET- for a small step, or hold the button to change the speed gradually.
Accelerating temporarily: press the accelerator. Release it to return to the set speed.
Pausing: briefly press the brake. Press RES to continue at the set speed.
Switching off cruise control: press the cruise control button again.
Switching on the speed limiter
Press LIM. The limiter is now active. Depending on the setting, it takes over your current speed or the speed limit from the last road sign.
Adjust the limit with SET+ or SET-: a short tap is a small step, holding it is a large step.
Need to exceed the limit briefly? Press the accelerator firmly.
Switching off the speed limiter: press LIM. The limiter is then on standby. Press LIM again to switch it off completely.
Please note: this is different from the speed warning, which shows the speed limit based on road signs. You can read more about this in the article on driver assistance systems.
