How do cruise control and the speed limiter work in the Hyundai Inster?

Cruise control and the speed limiter are both controlled via a single button on the steering wheel: the Driver Assistance button. Next to it are a rocker switch (up/down) and a separate cancel switch.

Activating cruise control

Drive at your desired speed (minimum approximately 30 km/h) and briefly press the Driver Assistance button. The car will now maintain that speed.

  • Adjusting speed: tap the rocker switch up or down for 1 km/h at a time, or hold it for steps of 10 km/h.

  • Temporarily accelerating: press the accelerator. Release to return to the set speed.

  • Deactivating cruise control: press the Driver Assistance button again, or apply the brakes.
