When this change will apply to you, you will be notified via email and within the app.
If you became a new customer after October 19, 2026, you will start with pay-in-advance immediately.
This article applies to customers using Pay-in-advance:
We do not store your card number or security code ourselves. Our payment provider, Adyen, converts your card details into an encrypted token, and we only store that token. This allows us to automatically charge you for trip costs, the excess (deductible) in the event of damage, and any fines, as stipulated in our General Terms and Conditions. You confirm your card once when adding it; there is no need to repeat this process thereafter. Further details can be found in our privacy policy.
