MyWheels will soon be switching from pay-after-use to pay-in-advance.
When this change will apply to you, you will be notified via email and within the app.
If you became a new customer after October 19, 2026, you will start with pay-in-advance immediately.
Old (Pay-after-use):
MyWheels uses a post-payment system. You will receive a weekly invoice, and the balance will be settled automatically via direct debit.
You can also choose for Post-payment with a deposit of €250.

New (Pay-in-advance):
You will see the estimated trip price when booking the ride. This amount is charged to your payment card no later than the moment you unlock the car. You can find the corresponding invoice in the app. At the end of the trip, the actual cost is calculated based on factors such as the duration and distance of your ride. If the estimated price was higher than the final price, the difference will be refunded to your card within 7 days (the exact timeframe depends on your card issuer). If the final price is higher, we will charge the remaining amount to your payment card later. You will receive another invoice for this adjustment, which you can also view in the app.
