Park the car in the designated spot or zone as shown in the app.
Bring the car to a stop and keep the brake pressed.
Press the P button on the end of the gear stalk.
Pull the EPB switch up to apply the parking brake. The brake light on the dashboard comes on.
Press the EV button to turn the car off.
Set the lights back to AUTO and close the windows.
Check that the charging door and all doors are closed, then lock the car via the app.
Good to know
If you turn the car off while it is in D, N or R, it shifts to P automatically.
If AUTO HOLD is active, the parking brake is applied automatically when you turn the car off.
Never use P as a substitute for the parking brake.
