This car has no physical key. You open and close it using the MyWheels app.
Opening the car
Open the car in the app via your reservation.
Disconnecting the charging cable (if connected)
Take the charging token from the glove compartment.
Hold it against the reader on the charging station.
Press "open" in the app again to release the charging cable.
The cable will release. Remove it.
Cable still stuck? Make sure the car is unlocked via the app. The cable only releases when the car is unlocked.
Storing the charging cable
Take the cable with you and place it in the boot.
Starting the car and driving off
Get in the car.
Press the foot brake.
Press the round start button (to the right of the steering wheel). The display will show 'Ready'. You will not hear an engine sound.
Use the rotary selector to shift gears: press the brake and turn the knob to D (forward) or R (reverse). There is no gear lever on the centre console.
Release the brake to drive off.
Problems starting?
Press the foot brake firmly and press the start button.
No engine sound? That is normal, it is an electric car. Check that the display shows 'Ready'.
Check that the charging cable is disconnected and the charge port flap is closed.
Gear selector not in P? Put it in P first, press the foot brake and try again.
Check that you have an active reservation in the app.
