How does charging work for the Renault 5?

Updated over 2 months ago

Charging

Does the car have less than 240 km (80%) of range upon return? If so, charge it at a charging station within the zone or at its designated parking spot. Follow these steps:

  1. The charging port is located on the left side of the car, above the front wheel. Park the car with the front facing the charging station.

  2. Turn off the car.

  3. Take the charging tag from the glove compartment or center console.

  4. Open the charging port by pressing on the cover.

  5. The charging cable is in the trunk. First, connect it to the car, then to the charging station, making sure it is firmly plugged in.

  6. Start the charging session by holding the charging tag against the reader on the charging station. The station will usually emit a beep to confirm.

  7. It may take a moment for the charging session to begin. The charging indicator on the station typically turns blue. The car's dashboard will also indicate that charging is in progress.

  8. Return the charging tag to the glove compartment.
