I received a text message stating that the car isn't connected correctly. What to do?

Try this if the car isn’t charging:
  1. Hold the charging card or fob against the reader again until the station's light turns blue.
  2. Reconnect the charging cable. Unplug it from both the car and the station, then plug it back in. Activate the station again with the charging card or fob.
  3. If you see rainbow colors or a red light, call the number on the charging station so the provider can reset it.
  4. If necessary, drive to another charging station.
  5. If everything is set up correctly and the car is charging, you can ignore the SMS notification.
