I have been charged multiple fines for the same violation. How is this possible?

It is possible that you will receive multiple fines for the same offense.

If the fines are associated with misuse, we pass on all resulting costs to you. For example, if you don’t return a car properly: the fines for incorrectly returning the car, for towing, for retrieval costs, and for any parking violations will be invoiced to you.

Or, for instance, if you park a car outside the designated zone. If you park the car just outside the zone, the vehicle may not have a valid parking permit there. In such cases, the resulting fines will be passed on to you. We implement a goodwill arrangement in this scenario: a maximum of two fines will be charged to you as the renter.
