After pressing "start ride" and once you're seated, you can turn on the car. If the car has a physical key, it will be in the glove compartment. If not, it's built-in, and you won't need a key to start the car. For your convenience, this information is also on a sticker in the car.

First aid for startup issues:
General solutions
Check if you have fully depressed the clutch (if present) and the brake pedal.
Is the steering wheel still locked? Remove the steering lock by pulling the steering wheel while turning the key in the ignition.
Make sure the car is in Park (P) when starting.
Apply the handbrake when starting the car.
Reopen the car with the key or app.
Specific error messages
Key not detected: Lock the car and unlock it again with your key or app. This will recognize the key.
Immobilizer activated: Lock the car and unlock it again with your key or app. This will recognize the key.

Step out, completely lock the car, and then unlock it again via the app. Try to start the car again—this almost always works.
