When you go on vacation or cross the border, you often encounter toll roads. In the Netherlands it is almost non-existent, but abroad they're still quite normal.
When abroad, you always have to take care of paying the toll yourself. Often you can just pay at toll booths, in cash or by pin. But beware: there are also roads where you cannot pay on the spot - think of digital toll roads or vignettes. In such cases, you have to arrange payment yourself in advance or afterwards. If you don't, it will be billed later, incurring additional administration fees and possible fines.
Are you driving through the Blankenburgverbinding (A24) just below Rotterdam? In that case, we will take care of the costs. You can drive on without any worries. Other toll roads in the Netherlands are at your own expense.
