Although you hope it never happens, accidents can occur—even when you’re using MyWheels. Fortunately, we have good insurance coverage. However, there is always a deductible. You will need to pay this deductible if we cannot recover the damage costs from the other party—such as if the accident is your fault.
The standard deductible of €500 can be reduced to €250 for €4.99 per ride. This is mandatory if you haven’t paid a deposit.
To reduce the deductible:
1. Make a reservation in the MyWheels app.
2. In the ride price overview, select ‘Reduce deductible’.
3. Confirm your reservation; you’re now ready to go!
