I have received a fine that has been transferred to my name, what does this mean?

When you commit a traffic violation or fail to pay sufficient parking tax, MyWheels receives the fine. Subsequently, this fine is placed in your name as the renter. In legal terms, this is also referred to as 'transferring.'

We handle this process through our partner, Appjection. They submit a transfer request to the authority from which you received the fine, and you will receive the fine at your residential address within sixteen weeks.

You can settle the fine as indicated on the penalty notice. If you wish to contest the fine because you disagree with it, please check our objections page.
